Marina di arbatax

Ogliastra

Right in the center of the Sardinian East Coast

A mythical territory featured with imposing cliffs and amazing crystal clear water

Located under Capo Bellavista, the Marina di Arbatax base is ideal for setting sail to discover the wild territory of Ogliastra, a rapidly growing region that still maintains a great and mysterious charm.

Navigating north, you will be able to admire the beaches of the renowned Santa Maria Navarrese, the islet of Ogliastra, Pedra Longa and the inaccessible limestone cliffs that mark the coast for over 10 miles. Sailing with us you can visit small hidden gems in the south of Capo Monte Santo, avoiding the most famous ‘coves’ whose charm is partly clouded by the large number of visitors.

By heading the bow to South, the scenarios change. Once past Capo Bellavista and its Rocce Rosse (literally, red rocks) we find the Gulf of Porto Frailis, ideal for a lunch or aperitif on board and to follow long stretches of white sand: Lido di Orrì, the beach of CEA and Barisardo just to name the best known.

Let yourself be guided by our skippers in an unforgettable experience, discovering the charm of the Ogliastra coasts from a new point of view.

Skipper and Nautical Base

Our base in Ogliastra – Marina di Arbatax

Fabio is a biomedical engineer, Milanese by birth and Turin by adoption, a great lover of the sea and sailing, who decided to move to Sardinia to follow his dream opening a Sailover nautical base.

A very curious and enterprising man, he will accompany you with great attention and passion along these wonderful coasts and will not fail to transfer his territory and sailing knowledge.

How to reach Marina di Arbatax

The Nautical Base of Marina di Arbatax is located within the Port of Arbatax, where there are also numerous boat rental activities.

The dock can be reached in a few minutes from the small city of Tortolì and in less than 20 minutes from the main towns along the coast, such as Santa Maria Navarrese and Barisardo.

What our customers say about us

Service, explanations, discovering the coastline, the meal… I did so many boat tours in different countries but none of them is comparable with this service. Thank you once again, and you, travellers, can book with no hesitation: they are a team of professionals!

We have spent a beautiful day with friends on board of our skipper Carlo’s sailing boat and everything was perfect! Nice dips in the water, a good meal, everything just relaxing and we also managed to try steering the boat.

Booking was easy, boat was clean and in great order – life jackets, equipment etc. […] The lunch was amazing – smoked fish with local honey, cheese and fruits – paired together so well I thought I was having a tasting menu in a Michelin starred restaurant at one point then I looked up and I was floating in the Med. […] Highly recommend.

Thank you to Sailover and Marco for our sailing excursion. My daughter said it was the best day of her life! Perfection and a dream come true!
